I remember it was a big thing- people thought computers all over the world were going to crash and civilization as we know it was going to come to a major threat. How come there was no movie about it? Hollywood managed to make movies about just ever other thing that could plague humanity.
I know there was a made-for-TV movie, which doesn’t count, but I’m asking about a theatrical film. The scare happened a little over a decade ago-if they made such a film now would anyone care?

I am 15 years old and there has been a few good movies out in my time. The Nativity Story, The Book Of Eli (haven’t seen it but here madd good things about it) and the Disney film The Prince of Egypt. BUT WHEN! When! will they make a modern day epic Christian film, like a story from the Bible!!! I want to see Jesus Calm the Seas like Dumbledoure with fire in the cave of Harry Potter 6. I want to see some Good actors, Crazy special FX, Epic music, and overall amazing master piece that makes even non-believers go and watch it. I mean really hollywood! like you don’t make this stuff because it doesn’t SELL WELL?! These stories, This Bible SAVES LIVES, but you’d rather make films that distance people far from God.

we have to make a shoet sotry and then film it…

A person is sitting at they lounge table, drinking coffee, having breakfast and reading the news paper. The camera is zooming in while their doing that. Then they looked a bit shocked and the screen goes black. Then it shows the person barricading themselves in a room (e.g., shutting the blinds) .They then are sitting is a dark gloomy room. They start to walk around and watch their phone. They look up at the clock in front of them, which keep ticking deeply but on time. When hours pass it is shown by fading in and out of shots/ overlapping each other. The person then sits against the wall looks at their phone then the clock. The big hand is starting to reach 7 o’clock. When it does the tension is shown by no more ticking sounds, and close-ups of the person’s eyes. This then goes back and forth on the person and the clock and slowly the clock goes back to normal speed.

Well, yeah…it ends up that they get a call form the boss, hes yellnig at them for missing work…then he3 goes to his old newspaper on the table and sees the date is for today, then he relises what day he brought the new newspaper in..and its the newspaper for tomrrow…and in the end its actually that he went paraniod beucase something in the newspaper told him he was going to die yesterday but it was for today…..so then the screen goes black and the ticking comes back on..but before that he looks at the time and it says 6:58 pm and it said he will die at 7

How hard is it to go from acting & writing for plays/theater to acting, writing, & directing for film/movies?
I am an aspiring screenwriter & director with an interest for acting & play writing. I am only able to go to a select number of colleges and none of them seem to have decent film courses, so I thing my ideal major would be Theater.
I live near Theaters that accept original plays and I think I can find success in this field, but my true love is for film and I want to pursue that dream too.
So is it hard to break into the film/hollywood industry through theater, or not?

Our project for our Finals is the Documentary film we’ll be making upon our community service. our topic’s about climate change. i wanted to make a short film on climate change to awaken people about the global problem we’re now facing wherein man gradually suffers.
