What makes a good motion picture? Is it the camera? The trick? or the editting softwares?

It really depends on who you ask. Some people prefer the story to special effects, while others enjoy the camera angles and editing over, say, the premise or character development of a film. Personally, I've been on both sides of the fence with what I consider a "good" motion picture. It might be just because I'm studying film that most of the people I've talked to generally agree that the story > lighting, angles, special effects, etc. Granted, none of those examples I just listed are mutually exclusive; a good motion picture sometimes can't be boiled down to one thing that made it good, compared to a "bad" picture. Ultimately it's a matter of opinion.
